Albert Watson







 
Albert Watson has made his mark as one of the world's most successful and prolific photographers since he began his career in 1970, blending art, fashion and commercial photography into some of the most iconic images ever seen. From portraits of Alfred Hitchcock and Steve Jobs, beauty shots of Kate Moss, to Las Vegas landscapes and still-life photographs of King Tutankhamen artifacts, Albert's diversity and body of work are unparalleled. His striking photographs and stunning hand-made prints are featured in galleries and museums around the globe. The photo industry bible, Photo District News, named Albert one of the 20 most influential photographers of all time, along with Irving Penn and Richard Avedon, among others.

Albert has won numerous honors, including a Lucie Award, a Grammy Award, three Andys, a Der Steiger Award, a Hasselblad Masters Award; and the Centenary Medal, a lifetime achievement award from the Royal Photographic Society. Queen Elizabeth II awarded the Scotsman an Order of the British Empire (OBE) in June 2015 for his lifetime contribution to the art of photography.

Over the years, Albert's photographs have appeared on more than 100 covers of Vogue worldwide and been featured in countless other publications, from Rolling Stone to Time to Harper’s Bazaar many of the photos iconic fashion shots or portraits of rock stars, rappers, actors and other celebrities..



Markus Klinko




Markus Klinko is an award-winning, international fashion/celebrity photographer and director, who has worked with many of today's most iconic stars of film, music, and fashion.

Klinko has photographed the likes of Beyonce, Lady Gaga, David Bowie, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Kanye West, Anne Hathaway, Kate Winslet, Will Smith, Eva Mendes, Kim Kardashian, Naomi Campbell, and Iman. His editorial clients include Vogue, GQ, Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar, and Interview magazine. Brands such as Lancôme, L'Oréal Paris, Nike, Hugo Boss, Anna Sui, Pepsi, Skyy Vodka, and Remy Martin have hired Klinko to create advertising campaigns. His campaign for Keep A Child Alive raised over one million dollars for children with AIDS in just 3 days.

Born in Switzerland of French, Italian, Jewish, and Hungarian descent, Klinko spent his early years training to become a classical harp soloist. He studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris. Later, Klinko signed an exclusive recording contract with EMI Classics, as well as a management contract with Columbia Artists Management. He received the Grand Prix de Disque for his recording of French harp music, with members of the orchestra of the Paris Opera Bastille. Klinko performed in recitals and as a featured soloist with symphony orchestras around the world. He was also regularly featured in such publications as Vogue Italia, Vanity Fair, GQ, The New York Times, Madame Figaro, Stereo Review, and Ongaku no Tomo.

After a hand injury, Klinko decided to become a fashion photographer and retired from his international concert and recording career. During that time, he met Indrani, who later became a regular collaborator in her role as his studio's digital post production artist and photo editor.

Isabella Blow discovered Klinko's work while at the London Sunday Times and commissioned cover stories from the emerging photographer. Around the same time, Ingrid Sischy, at Interview magazine hired Klinko for various shoots. Iman and David Bowie followed, giving the up and coming photographer a chance to photograph them for their respective book (I am Iman) and album covers (Heathen).

From there, he went on to create some of the most iconic album covers of his time, including Beyonce's Dangerously in Love, and Mariah Carey's The Emancipation of Mimi.

Many of Klinko's famous celebrity photographs can be seen in his coffee table book ICONS (Perseus). Lincoln Center in New York presented an art exhibit showcasing many prints from the book and since, art galleries and museums around the world have featured his work.

Klinko has appeared on E! News, Access Hollywood, Fashion Television, CNN's Showbiz Tonight and Larry King Live and has been the subject of the reality show Double Exposure on the Bravo network.



Jean-Daniel Lorieux




Jean-Daniel Lorieux is a French fashion photographer. He was born in 1937 in Paris.

He began his career at Studio Harcourt in 1964, as an assistant. He stayed there for a while before becoming a freelance photographer.
For more than two decades, he worked for the biggest fashion magazines: Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, L’Officiel, and more.

Christian Dior, Céline, Lanvin, Pierre Cardin, Paco Rabanne entrust him with the realization of their advertising campaigns. Going beyond "classic" fashion photography, many personalities call on him for portraits. Salvador Dali, Nelson Mandela, Serge Gainsbourg, Salma Hayek, Johnny Halliday or even the President of the Republic: Jacques Chirac.
The paradisiacal islands of the South quickly became his studios. From the Maldives to the Seychelles, Jean-Daniel Lorieux crisscrossed the beaches in search of sun, light and joy.

At a time when models were starting to become stars, he directed them for the biggest fashion newspapers. The great fashion houses such as Cardin, Lanvin, Céline, Dior and Paco Rabanne then secured his services.

He knew how to impose his style, by idyllic photographs, always unexpected, mixing eroticism and happiness. The joyful sensuality emanating from his work is mixed with a provocative humor.

His colorful photographs sublimate his exceptional models. Great models like Claudia Schiffer or Stéphanie Seymour, to actresses like Sharon Stones and singers like Frank Sinatra, all have passed his lenses.

Jean-Daniel Lorieux is recognized today for having made fashion photography evolve. Through his happy, positive and unexpected photographs, he has left his indelible mark.

Graduated from GOBELINS, l’école de l’image, the national digital art school in Paris, Thibault Breton is a photographer whose work displays a perfect combination of science and art. He has an extensive knowledge of molecular biology and studies of letters, and his work is characteristic with his care for the scientific accuracy and the ability to tell a story.
Thibault has worked with leading magazines such as ZING, MADAME FIGARO, OOB MAGAZINE, and ZEBULE. He is now also wanted by many luxurious brands including Vuitton, Lancel, Garnier, ect  and works on their advertisements for cosmetics, jewels, watches and eyewear..

The entire oeuvre of one of the greatest living photographers in two hundred and fifty shots spanning more than forty years of his career.

The world of fashion, portraits of movie and music stars, the contradictions of Las Vegas, the exotic scenery of Morocco, the faces of Louisiana prisoners "frozen" by the sensitivity of a true master of photography.

The first Italian retrospective dedicated to Albert Watson was held at the Rotonda della Besana in Milan from Sept. 27 to Oct. 16, 2004, under the patronage of the City of Milan and the King of Morocco and with the collaboration of RCS Corriere della Sera, Sony Italia and Citroën.

Two hundred and fifty works documenting more than forty years of his career, ranging from celebrity portraits to the faces of prisoners in Louisiana and from images of an utterly astonishing Morocco to those more recently taken in Las Vegas.
